Custom glazing with recycled crushed glass
Developed by Tanah Pottery, sourced locally from Bali. An experimental glazing technique, using Tanah Pottery’s default glaze, mixed with crushed glass bottles from Potato Head at higher temperatures during the firing stage.
This glaze blends recycled glass and default glaze, creating unique surfaces with subtle differences through intense heat firing
Results vary depending on the ratio of recycled glass and glaze liquid—each piece reveals different colors, textures and patterns
